The Club Today
The Falcons Soccer Club brings together adult players of all skill levels and orientations for informal weekly pick-up games, organized league and tournament play, and social events with the goal of providing an environment where friendships, fitness, fair play, and fun flourish. The club is co-ed, primarily gay and lesbian, and is a 501c 3 nonprofit group. The falcons have promoted good sportsmanship and a positive social outlet since their founding in 1989.

IGLFA (International Gay & Lesbian Football Association)
The Falcons club is a proud member of IGLFA. IGLFA represents football at the Federation of Gay Games & Intertnational Bodies, manages host selection process for the annual World Championship and Gay Games, assists in tournament operations, new teams, connects teams and players, and represents gay football to the public.
Mission Statement: IGLFA shall foster and augment the self respect of gay women and men throughout the world, and engender respect and understanding from the non-gay world, through the medium of football (soccer). Additionally we work to establish an international network of football clubs and to promote physical and tactical understanding of the game of football.

League and Tournament History
The Club has represented the Philadelphia region well in the past. Though we are a social club and have members at all levels, the club often rises to a higher level in tournament play and many of our more skilled players enjoy the competition in local leagues and national and international play.
